Easy Serving Ideas

For maximum flavor, serve thin slices of Prosciutto di Parma® at room temperature. Enjoy it as Italians do—without removing the band of fat around each slice, which helps give the ham its distinctive balance of flavor and texture.

  • As a classic antipasto, arrange three to four slices of Prosciutto di Parma® on a plate, accompanied simply by country bread. Serve Italian cheeses and olives if you like.
  • Drape Prosciutto di Parma® slices around fresh figs or melon slices. Or, try other seasonal fruits such as ripe pears, mangos, papayas, pineapples and kiwis.
  • To create an elegant salad, top mixed greens with strips of Prosciutto di Parma® and shavings of Parmigiano-Reggiano®·
  • Make an Italian-style panino by layering slices of Prosciutto di Parma® on a crusty roll with fresh or smoked mozzarella, tomato slices and a sprinkling of olive oil.
  • Wrap Prosciutto di Parma® slices around bread sticks, lightly cooked asparagus spears or grilled shrimp.
