Prosciutto di Parma to Exhibit at 2010 Fancy Food Show in late June

The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma is once again showcasing the extraordinary quality of Prosciutto di Parma at the Summer Fancy Food Show, June 27 to 29, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center.
In its 57th year, North America’s largest specialty food and beverage event is sponsored by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade. The Show attracts over 24,000 visitors, providing 2,500 exhibitors from 81 countries a rare opportunity to meet with buyers face-to-face and to offer them information about their products.
Visitors to Booth #2709 in the Italian Pavillion will be offered samples of the world’s most famous ham, as well as educational brochures, handling guides and information about the promotional opportunities for distributors and retailers.

The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma is the trade association of the 164 producers of Prosciutto di Parma. The Consorzio protects product quality and ensures that production is carried out with full compliance according to traditional methods. Over 9.8 million Parma Hams were produced in 2009, of which 1.2 million were sold in pre-sliced packaged form.
