PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA TO EXHIBIT AT 2008 FANCY FOOD SHOW IN JULY

The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma and its promotional partner the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano, with support from the European Union, are once again showcasing the extraordinary qualities of their products at the Summer Fancy Food Show, June 29 to July 1, 2008, at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center. In its 34rd year, the annual show is sponsored by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade and attracts over 30,000 visitors, providing exhibitors a rare opportunity to meet with specialty food buyers face-to-face and to offer them information about their products.
An impressive 87% of those who attend the show are buyers or authorize purchases, an important target for the producers of Prosciutto di Parma. Visitors to Booth #3147 will be offered samples of both products, as well as educational brochures, handling guides and training DVDs.
