Parma Ham at Foodex in Tokyo from 2 to 5 March

This year too, the Parma Ham Consortium will be present at the food fair FOODEX, which will be held in Tokyo from 2 to 5 March. The Consortium's stand, located inside the Italian pavilion, will be shared with the Parmigiano-Reggiano Consortium, within the scope of the promotional project co-financed by the EU and by AGEA and will be situated as follows:

On 4 March, there will be a meeting with Japanese importers, again in collaboration with Parmigiano-Reggiano, which will be held from 19:00 to 21:00 at the Canoviano restaurant in Tokyo.
 
The occasion will be useful for taking stock of the situation of this market and for illustrating the main initiatives planned by the Consortium for the current year, with particular reference to the joint European project with Parmigiano-Reggiano and Port and Douro Wines.
 
We mention that the East is an important market for Parma Ham and that every year about 90 thousand Parma Hams are exported to Japan.
