Parma Ham Consortium wins the Mediastars 2006 award

Parma Ham's 2006 radio ad created by the ad agency Cayenne, has won the Mediastars 2006 award. Mediastars is an independent award that aims to spotlight all those professionals who are involved in the creation of an advert. This is the 10th award of its kind and among those presenting were top ad agencies, production houses and post-production audiovisual and web factoring. Judging the award were more than a hundred qualified professionals from various industry Associations as well as technical individuals representing the main Agencies and Production Houses. In total, 629 pieces of work were examined, divided into various categories. The Parma Ham ad (entitled "Milligrammo") won the overall award in the Radio Section. In addition, recognition was also given to various technical professionals who created the ad. Among these was the work of the Copywriter who wrote the text and the actress who interpreted the ad. "We are very satisfied – said Stefano Tedeschi, chairman of Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma – to receive an award such as this from a qualified jury of communication professionals means that we are on the right track and that we have been able to communicate the message we wanted in an ironic way: "not all dry-cured ham is Parma Ham, if you want Parma quality ask for Parma!"
