New Italian commericials demonstrate Parma Ham's healthy properties

Parma, 18 March 2005 - It doesn't just taste Good, it's also Good for you: this is the main concept behind the Parma Ham Consortium's new advertising campaign in Italy. Four small, but precious adverts, a "series" lasting 10 seconds tailor-made to narrate the quality of one of the most appreciated Italian products in the World. The four adverts have a surreal feeling to them with Parma as the central character, symbolizing a food that is healthy, balanced and tasty! "Healthy and easily digested. "It isn't just the taste of Prosciutto di Parma that's in 100g of Prosciutto di Parma" a voice in the background reveals the Ham's "secret" essence: protein, vitamins and all the main nutrients that are essential for a perfect daily diet and......so much goodness. The advert was created by the advertising agency EURO RSCG MILANO, the creative directors were Giovanni Porro and Roberto Greco and it was directed by Alvaro Pianezzi. Gianfranco Clerici composed the music and the production was by Stripe. The advert will be shown on the main television and satellite channels starting from 20 March in Italy. "This new advert aims to put across Prosciutto di Parma's nutritive qualities to the consumer - said Alessandro Utini, president of the Parma Ham Consortium. Parma Ham is first and foremost a healthy food: it's very nature as a non-processed and simple food makes it ideal for anyone and not just as a starter or snack but also and especially, as a real and genuine "main course" to which one wishes to give qualities of completeness, lightness and high nutritional value".
